Ensure that the plastic tie or clamp at the rear of the
washing machine is holding the drain hose firmly in
place.
NOTE: It is important that the drain hose is above
the join between the cabinet and the washing
machine top panel.
(See fig. 7)
9.
If the inlet hoses have sealing washers fitted, connect
the hose with the BLUE nuts to the COLD water tap
and to the washing machine valve with the BLUE
marker. Similarly connect the hose with the RED nuts
to the HOT water tap and the washing machine valve
with the RED marker.
MAKE SURE THE HOSE NUTS ARE TIGHT.
REMOVE THE CARDBOARD HOSE HOLDER FROM
THE REAR OF THE WASHING MACHINE (if fitted)
If the inlet hoses do not have the sealing washers
fitted, proceed as follows;
Fit the sealing washers (no strainer) into the bent ends
of the water inlet hoses and connect the BLUE nut to
the COLD water valve (blue marker) on the washing
machine and the RED nut to the HOT water valve (red
marker) on the washing machine. (See fig. 8)
MAKE SURE THE HOSE NUTS ARE TIGHT.
If strainer washers (washers containing a mesh filter)
are not fitted to the nuts which are to be connected to
the inlet taps proceed as follows:
Fit the sealing washers to the nuts with the mesh
pointing towards the tap (See fig. 9) and connect the
BLUE nut to the COLD water tap and RED nut to the
HOT water tap.
MAKE SURE THE HOSE NUTS ARE TIGHT.
Turn the tap/s on and check that there are no leaks
from the tap/s or washing machine.
10.If
you only have a cold water tap, you must fit a blank
cap with a sealing washer to the HOT water inlet
valve, otherwise water will leak out of the valve.
(See fig. 10)
A blank cap is available from EMAIL Spare Parts
Centres or Authorised Service Centres.
