The SimPure® HP8 Air Purifier is a purification device designed to provide clean and healthy air for homes and offices. It operates on a philosophy of a 'minimalist lifestyle,' aiming to create a simple, clean, and comfortable environment by filtering impurities and particles from the air. The device is designed to be smart, easy to operate, and practical in both appearance and functionality.
Function Description
The SimPure® HP8 Air Purifier is engineered to filter out a wide range of airborne impurities and particles. It employs a quadruple filtration system that includes a Primary filter, an H12 High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter (HEPA), Activated Carbon, and a Nanosilver ion filter. This comprehensive filtration process is capable of capturing over 99.97% of particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 2.5 microns.
The device effectively targets various common indoor air pollutants. These include viruses, respirable dust, mites' eggs and excretions, mold, dust, allergens, pollen, bacteria, and dust mites. It also addresses odors and harmful substances like cigarette smoke, asbestos, toxic dust, aerosols, dander, and allergens from pet fur. By removing these contaminants, the HP8 aims to improve indoor air quality, contributing to a better and healthier living or working environment.
Usage Features
The SimPure® HP8 Air Purifier offers several user-friendly features for convenient operation:
- Power Control: The device is turned on and off using a single power button. Pressing it once activates the operational mode, and pressing it a second time places the unit into standby mode.
- Wind Speed (Fan) Adjustment: Users can cycle through different fan speeds by repeatedly pressing the wind speed button. The available settings include Sleep (low speed), Medium speed (indicated as '2'), and High Speed (indicated as '3'). A corresponding indicator light displays the currently selected fan speed.
- Sleep Mode: For quieter operation, the HP8 features a dedicated sleep mode. When activated, the air purifier enters a quieter state with a low fan speed. In this mode, all indicator lights are turned off, except for the sleep mode light, to minimize disturbance.
- Timer Function: The device includes a timed auto-off feature, allowing users to set specific operating durations. By pressing the timer button repeatedly, users can cycle through auto-off times of 1, 2, or 4 hours. The selected auto-off time is indicated by a corresponding light.
- Filter Reset Indicator: The air purifier is equipped with a filter indicator lamp that illuminates when the filter has reached its maximum operational life of 1500 hours, signaling that a replacement is needed.
- Easy Installation: The installation process is straightforward, involving opening the rear cover, removing the composite filter's packaging, and plugging the unit into an electrical outlet. The device is designed for indoor use on a flat, level, dry, and secure surface with average ambient room temperature.
Maintenance Features
Maintaining the SimPure® HP8 Air Purifier is designed to be simple, ensuring continued optimal performance:
- Filter Replacement: The device utilizes a single composite filter element. When the filter indicator lamp illuminates (after approximately 1500 hours of use), it signifies that the filter is exhausted and requires replacement. The replacement process involves turning off and unplugging the unit, removing the rear cover, and extracting the old filter.
- Cleaning the Interior: During filter replacement, it is recommended to clean any remaining dust, dirt, or hair inside the purifier using a vacuum hose or a dry cloth. It is crucial not to use water or any liquids for cleaning the interior of the purifier.
- Installing a New Filter: New filter elements come with packaging that must be removed before installation. Users should pay attention to the inward and outward sides of the filter element and refer to the new filter instructions for correct airflow direction. After placing the new filter, the rear cover is refitted.
- Resetting the Filter Timer: Once a new filter is installed and the power cord is plugged back in, the filter timer function must be reset. This is done by pressing and holding the filter button for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off, confirming a successful reset.
- Regular Cleaning: To ensure efficient operation, the device and its power plug should be cleaned regularly to remove dust. When cleaning, the unit must be unplugged. Strong corrosive detergents or chemicals should be avoided as they may damage the device's surface.
- Airflow Maintenance: It is important to ensure that the air inlets or outlets on the device are not obstructed to maintain proper airflow. The composite filter should not be washed or reused; it must be replaced with a new one when exhausted.
The SimPure® HP8 Air Purifier is backed by a 1-year warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Consumable items, such as replaceable filter cartridges, are excluded from this warranty. Technical assistance and customer support are available for any operational or maintenance queries.
