Verifyingtheinstallationparametersforthe
transducer
Whentheinstallationtrunkismounted,itmaynotbepositionedwiththemountingholes
perfectlyalignedtothecentrelineofthevessel.Whenthehullunitisplacedonthe
trunk,the"forward"markonthetransducershaftsleeve-andthusalso"forward"on
thetransducer-maynotpointforwardatall,butseveraldegreesoffthecentreline.To
obtainaccurateST90presentations,thismisalignmentmustbeadjustedbychangingthe
installationparameters.
Prerequisites
Foraccuratelocationofthe
transducer,youneedthedetailed
vesseldrawings.Youalsoneedthe
alignmentanglethatwasrecorded
whenthehullunitwasinstalled.
Neithertoolsnorinstrumentsare
required.TheST90systemisturned
onandoperatesnormally.

2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.Thisdialogboxcontainsanumber
ofpagesselectedfromthemenuontheleftside.
