TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of overheang, smoke, or unpleasant smell in the process of charging, unplug your device
immediately to prevent fire hazard.
Keep the product out of children’s reach, especially while charging. Power line may cause children
accidental suffocaon or electric shock.
If you are not using the camera for a prolonged period, remove the baery and store it in a dry and
dark place, away from sunlight.
Keep the device in cool, dry and dust-proof places.

Make sure that the baery is charged. To charge the baery, use the provided charger, car charger
or a USB cable to charge from a computer.
If your camera is not responding or if aer the firmware upgrade the unit's yellow or blue indicator
light is blinking but there is nothing appearing on the screen (black or white screen), please try the
following steps:
Power the camera off.
Remove the baery and the microSD card from the camera.
Reformat the MicroSD card using the FAT32 file format on your computer.
Copy the firmware files into the root directory of your microSD card.
Reinsert the memory card into your camera.
Reinsert the baery.
Connect the camera with the charger, and it will be upgraded automacally
Aer the firmware update is completed remove the SD card from the camera and format it again
on your computer, make sure to use the FAT32 file format.
Also, if that does not solve the issue, please try with a new microSD card as some of the microSD
cards on the markets do not work properly with SJCAM cameras. Please scroll through the list of the

This is rarely a camera issue. Update your video codecs on your computer. Also, it is recommended
to acquire at least a Class 10 memory card to avoid choppy” display. It is advisable to transfer the
video on the computers hard drive and start the playback, to avoid the limitaons of the card reader
or the USB cable.
