How to troubleshoot system disturbance (Event 301) on SMA Inverter?
- RRobert PenningtonAug 27, 2025
If your SMA Inverter is showing a system disturbance (Event 301), it indicates that the 10-minute-average mains voltage is no longer within the permissible range. Check the mains voltage at the termination point of the inverter. If, due to local grid conditions, the mains voltage exceeds the configured threshold, ask the network operator whether the voltage can be adjusted at the feed-in point, or whether it would be acceptable to modify the threshold for power quality monitoring. If the mains voltage is permanently within the tolerance range and this error is still displayed, contact the SMA Service Line.
