If brake discs or brake pads are fouled with oil, braking dis-
tances may be considerably longer. There is a risk of accident
and injury. Do not ride with brake discs or brake pads that are
fouled with oil. Visit a qualified specialist workshop imme-
diately.

Clean the brake discs with alcohol.

Replace the brake pads.

Have the cause of the oil-fouled brake discs and brake pads
repaired at a qualified specialist workshop.

Air in the braking system.

Air in the braking system can result in considerably longer
braking distances. There is a risk of accident and injury. Do
not ride if there is air in the braking system. Visit a qualified
specialist workshop immediately.

Have the brake system bled at a qualified specialist work-
shop.
The brake system is leaking.

WARNING
The loss of pressure caused by leaks in the brake system can
result in considerably longer braking distances. There is a
risk of an accident. Do not ride with a leaking brake system.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop immediately.

Check the brake callipers, brake lines and connections.

Have the leaks rectified at a qualified specialist workshop.
The brake is making
grinding noises dur-
ing the journey.
There is dirt or water on the brake disc or brake pads.

Brake several times to remove any dirt and water from the
brake discs and brake pads.
The brake calliper is not exactly aligned with the brake disc.
