13. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
NOTE!
Before carrying out any operations on the unit read the 'Safety standards' chapter carefully.
NOTE!
Any work carried out on the equipment must be performed by qualied technicians authorised
by SOCOMEC.
Routine maintenance carried out annually is recommended in order to provide optimum operating efciency and avoid
equipment downtime.
Maintenance consists of thorough functionality checks on:
• electronic and mechanical parts;
• dust removal;
• battery inspection;
• software updating;
• environmental checks.

1. Fans & capacitors
The lifespan of consumable parts such as fans and capacitors (AC and DC) depends on whether or not the use and
environmental conditions (premises, usage or load type) are abnormal or harsh for the equipment.
It is advisable to replace consumables as follows
