Questions and Answers

Overview

The SolaX X3-Forth Series inverter is a three-phase, transformerless grid-connected inverter designed for photovoltaic power generation systems. Its primary function is to convert direct current (DC) generated by photovoltaic panels into alternating current (AC) for self-consumption or feeding into the public grid. The series includes models ranging from 40kW to 150kW, with specific voltage ranges for different power outputs: 40K/50K/60K/70K inverters operate in the 220 V / 127 V low voltage range, 80K/100K/110K/120K/125K inverters in the 220 V / 380 V range, and 136K/150K inverters in the 500 V / 540 V medium voltage range.

Function Description

The X3-Forth series plays a crucial role in photovoltaic systems by efficiently converting DC power from solar panels into usable AC power. It is equipped with multi-channel Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to ensure maximum power extraction even under varying photovoltaic input conditions. The inverter integrates lightning arresters on both the AC and DC sides for surge protection. It supports various power grid types including TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S, TT, and IT.
