4-1 Overview of Player Operations

Use the DIP switches on the rear panel of the player to select the
following functions and operating modes:
When set to ON, the on-line play mode is activated whenever the PLAY key is pressed,
regardless of the setting of the LINE OUT switch on the control unit. Set this switch to ON
when operating only from the front of the player.
ON: The on-line play mode is always activated. Control unit operations are disabled.
OFF: Mode activation depends on the LINE OUT switch setting on the control unit.

Use this switch to select the type of signal input to the REMOTE-3 connector on the rear panel
of the player during fader playback.
ON: Edge-type signal input. The PLAY or STOP mode is activated by the fall of the edge (5 V)
input. ( LL)
OFF: Level-type signal input. The PLAY mode is activated by the fall of the PLAY input signal
and the STOP mode is activated by the rise of the PLAY input signal. (_ #_frtav|storf )
Use this switch to enable the fader-delay function. During parallel control of the player from an
external device, playback starts 250 ms after the input of the PLAY command.
OFF: The fader-delay function is disabled. (Delay time: 0 ms)
ON: The fader-delay function is enabled. (Delay time: 250 ms)
Use this switch to specify the automatic display of the remaining time of the track on the
counter during on-line play.
ON: The auto-remain function is enabled.
OFF: The auto-remain function is disabled.
Use these switches to set the signal rise detection level by the AMS function.

Use these switches to select the operating mode of the player.
Operating mode | Status
OFF OFF On-line play starts only from STANDBY mode to
prevent on-the-air misoperations. All keys except
the STOP key are disabled during on-line play.
OFF ON Mode 2 On-line play can be started from modes other than
STANDBY mode. All keys except the STOP key are
disabled during on-line play.
