4-3 Playback Procedures

Playing Back at Variable Speed

VARI SET key
JOG dial
STOP key
Playing back at variable speed
1 After locating the cue point, press the VARI key while in
STANDBY mode.
2 Press the PLAY key.
Monitor play is performed at the speed previously set with the
VARI SET key and the JOG dial or the numeric keys.
3 After checking the contents of the cue point and playback speed,
press the STANDBY key.
4 Press the LINE OUT switch so that it lights up.
5 Press the PLAY key.
On-line play starts from the specified cue point.
To stop playback
Press the STOP key.
To change the playback speed during playback
Press the VARI SET key, then change the speed by turning the JOG
dial. (The numeric keys are disabled and cannot be used to change the
playback speed. Only the CLR key functions.)
