Overview
The
CDP-3100/CDS-3100
is
a
system
consisting
of
a
compact
disc
player
unit
and
compact
disc
player
control
unit.
This
system
provides
the
following
professional
features:

unit/one-player
system
configuration

Various
interface
options
e
Precise
and
easy
cue
point
searching
The
following
major
functions
are
provided:
System
component
configuration
Due
to
the
one-to-one
correspondence
between
player
and
control
unit,
single-unit-like
operations
are
possible
while
providing
the
merits
of
a
two-unit
system
component
configuration.
Connection
of
an
optional
interface
board
(DABK-3102
or
DABK-3103)
provides
the
added
features
of
synchronization
with
video
signals,
9-pin
remote
control,
digital
output
(AES/EBU
format)
at
48
kHz,
and
connectability
to
the
DAE-3000
editing
system.
Play
functions
The
player
supports
normal
playback
(monitor
play
and
on-line
play),
as
well
as
variable-speed
playback
over
a
range
of
+12.5%.
Searching
for
a
cue
point
You
can
do
a
cue
point
search
by
frame
using
AMS
with
three
levels
of
sound
detection,
through
an
index
search,
or
through
the
input
of
numerical
values.
With
the
optional
DABK-3101
memory
board,
you
can
do
searches
using
the
JOG
dial
while
monitoring
the
sound.
