4-2 Searching for a Cue Point
You can cue to the beginning of desired tracks by entering cue points
with the disc data input keys on the front panel of the player, or
perform more precise cue point searches with the JOG dial on the
contro] unit.
This section explains the following procedures for cue point searching
using the CDS-3100 control unit:
¢ Searching for a cue point through numerical input
¢ Searching for a cue point with the JOG dial

You can specify a cue point by track number, index point number, or
time data entered directly to the disc data input section.
Basic Procedure for Numerical Cue Point Entry

Basic procedure for searching for a track
1 Press the JOG key.
2 Enter the desired track number with the numeric keys.
For example, to search for the track 3, press 0 then 3.
3 Press the STANDBY key.
The player goes to the beginning of the desired track, then enters
STANDBY mode.
