Locating
the
Loudest
Portion
of
the
Disc
Peak
Search
You
can
locate
the
portion
with
the
highest
input
level
of
the
disc
to
adjust
the
recording
level.
Continuous
or
shuffle
play
mode
-
Searches
all
selections
on
the
disc
which
is
ready
to
be
played
in
ALL
DISCS
as
well
as
in
1
DISC
mode.
Program
play
mode
~
Searches
all
programmed
selections.
Playing
Peak
Search
l
“PEAK”
flashes
in
the
display.
All
thẹ
selections
in
the
disc
or
program
will
be
searched
automatically.
The
loudest
portion
will
play
repeatedly
for
4
seconds.
Adjust
the
recording
level
on
your
tape
deck
according
to
the
peak
level.
To
stop
peak
search
Press
@.
Press
P
to
start
play
from
the
beginning
of
the
disc.
Press
if
to
pause
at
the
first
selection.
“PEAK”
will
disappear
from
the
display.
To
go
to
another
disc
Press
DISC
SKIP
during
stop.

on
Peak
Search
e
The
unit
scans
input
levels
of
the
whole
disc
and
determines
the
peak
{maximum
input
level)
among
them.
The
peak
determined
with
this
function
is
sometimes
slightly
different
from
the
real
one.
In
addition,
portions
determined
as
a
peak
vary
each
time
this
function
is
carried
out
on
the
same
disc.
The
difference
between
the
determined
and
the
real
peak
is
however,
negligible
and
will
not
prevent
you
from
adjusting
the
recording
level.
e
Peak
search
does
not
work
if
you
press
EX-CHANGE
to
open
the
disc
tray.
