Recording
From
the
Radio
Whenever
you
record,
we
recommend
you
operate
the
CD
cassette-corder
on
the
AC
power
cord
instead
of
using
batteries
because
recording
consumes
a
lot
of
battery
power.
We
recommend
you
use
TYPE
|
(normal)
tape
(printed
on
the
tape
cassette).

until
“RADIO"
appears
in
the
display
window.

volume

the
audio
emphasis

the
recording

To
reduce
noise
while
AM
recording
If
the
radio
makes
a
whistling
sound,
set
the
ISS
(Interference
Suppress
Switch)
at
the
rear
of
the
unit
to
the
position
which
most
decreases
the
noise.
Normally
it
is
set
to
“2”.
ilaving
a
tape
permanently

ated
To
prevent
a
tape
from
being
accidently
recorded
over,
break
off
the
cassette
tab
from
side
A
or
B
as
illustrated.
If
you
later
want
to
reuse
the
tape
for
recording,
cover
the
broken
tab
with
adhesive
tape.

Disconnect
the
microphone
if
connected
at
the
MIX
MIC
jack.

TAPE
until
TAPE”

in
the
display
window.
