Specifying
Tape
Length
You
can
have
the
CD
player
make
programs
that
will
fit
the
length
of
the
tape.
Use
a
TYPE
{
(normal)
tape.
EDIT/PGM
CLEAR
TUNING/TIME
SET

Insert
a
CD.

blank
tape
to
deck

with
the
side
you
want
to
record
on
facing
up.
Press

FWD
and
set

Use
a
tape
longer
than

total
playing
time

the
disc.

appears
in
the
display

displayed,

the
0
(stop)

until
the
indication
disappears.

CLEAR

based
on
the

CLEAR,
the
track
orders
for
program

will
be

The
player
automatically
creates
programs
for
sides
A
and
B
of
the
tape.
The
tracks
that
will
play
appear
in
the
music
calendar.
The
indication
“14”
shows
that
12
tracks
plus
a
pause
have
been
programmed.
Additional
tracks
can
be
porgrammed
from
the
14th
step.
(f
the
CD
total
playing
time
exceeds
the
tape
length,
the
tape
length
flashes
and
“—
—”
is
displayed.
Replace
the
tape
with
a
longer
tape
and
repeat
from
step
5.

REC
on
deck
B.
“REC”
and
“DUB”
appears
in
the
display
window
and
recording
starts.

When
recording

side
A
is
finished,
the
CD
player
pauses
and
the
tape
runs
to
the
end
of
side
A
(erasing
any
previous
recordings).
Then,
either
the
tape
will
start
recording
on
side
B
automatically
(CFD-768)
or
you
will
have
to
take
the
tape
out
and
turn
it
over
(CFD-758).
Note:
(f
you
open
the
disc
tray,
the
track
order
programmed
to
record
will
be
erased.
To
cancel
programmed
record
Press
&
&
STOP/EJECT
on
the
tape
deck.
