(CFD-768 Only) Timer-Recording Radio Programs
You can set the timer to record the radio at a certain time.
Make sure the current time is correct. If it is not, reset it
referring to the section Seiting the Clock on page 12. Make
sure the © (clock) indication is not lit in the display window.
DIR MODE

STANDBY
1 Tumon the power and press RADIO. Tune in the radio
station you want to record.
2 insert a blank tape to deck B with the side you want to
record on facing up. Press <I> DIR to light > FWD.
3 Select dual or single-sided recording.

4 Press TIMER.
The © (clock) and function indications flash.

6 Set the timer to the hour you want the music to go on
by pressing TUNING/TIME SET (-/+), then ENTER/
MEM. Set the minutes and press ENTER/MEM.

7 Set the volume you want the radio program to record at
by pressing VOLUME.

8 Press TIMER.
All your settings have been stored in the memory of the
CD cassette-corder.
9 Press STANDBY.
The © (clock) indication lights and the power goes off.

10 Press @ REC.
At the preset time the power will go on automatically
and recording will start. The power will go off again two
hours later.
To check when recording will start
Press TIMER, then ENTER/MEM. Each time you press
ENTER/MEM, a stored setting (including the volume) lights
up. When you finish checking, press TIMER again. The
display which was lit before you pressed TIMER will
reappear.
To stop recording
Press B® & STOP/EJECT, then press POWER.
To cancel the timer
Press STANDBY to make the © (clock) indication
disappear.
