Since

aerial
is
directional,
rotate
the
set
horizontally
for
opti-
mum
reception
if
necessary.
@ When using an external aerial, normally set the MW/LW Exter-
nal Aerial Sensitivity Switch at the rear to DX. When you receive
a
very
strong
station,
or
if
at
night
a
local
station
cannot
be
re-
ceived satisfactorily, set it to LOCAL.

@ Les réceptions PO et GO utilisent l’antenne en barre de ferrite
incorporée. Orienter l'appareil dans un plan horizmtal pour
obtenir une meilleure réception, l’antenne étant directicnelle.
@ Lors de l'utilisation d'une antenne extérieure, placer §interrup-
teur [MW. LW EXT ANT] situé a l’arrigre sur DX. Encas de ré-
ception de signaux puissants, ou en cas de difficultés pour capter
un émetteur local & cause de parasites dis a des stitions plus
éloignées, le placer sur LOCAL.
