QUARTZ CLOCK AND TIMER
Power Source
This clock operates on one size D battery. After the installation
of the battery in the Clock Battery Compartment, the Light Emit-
ting Diode will flash each second indicating that the clock is in
operation.
Battery installation:
@ Remove the Mains Lead Compartment Lid at the rear (Fig. B). .
@ Insert one size D battery into the compartment by pressing in-
ward with the flat side against the spring contact (Fig. H).
© Close the lid by placing the bottom of the lid into the lower
portion of the compartment opening, and pivot the lid down until
the tab snaps closed (Fig. 1).
Battery life: About one year of operation is possible when using
a size D Sony Super Battery. When the battery is discharged, the
clock will lose time and the battery should be replaced with a fresh
new one.

Source d’alimentation
Cette horloge fonctionne sur une pile de format D. Apres l’avoir
introduite dans le logement pourvu, le voyant Jumineux clignote
toutes les secondes, indiquant que l’horloge fonctionne.
Mise en place des piles:
@ Enlever le couvercle du boitier du cordon d’alimentation situé a
l’arriére (fig. B).
@ Introduire une pile de format D dans le logement en poussant
vers l’intérieur avec la surface plate placée sur le ressort (fig. H).
© Replacer le couvercle, en enclenchant sa base dims les pattes
de fixation, et le fermer en le faisant pivoter (fig. 1).
Durée de la pile: Environ une année de fonctionnement est pos-
sible en utilisant une Pile Super Sony format D.
Lorsque la pile est déchargée, I’horloge retarde. II faut alors met-
tre une nouvelle pile.
