To Listen to Tape
@ Set the radio in reception mode (POWER switch ON).
@ Set the volume of the tape recorder to a normal listening level.
© Connect the recorder EARPHONE or MONITOR jack to the radio
AUX IN jack with the Connecting Cord RK-69H (optional) as in
Fig. N.
@ Set the recorder in playback mode.
@ Adjust the sound with the VOLUME and TONE controls of the
radio.
@ The TUNING/BATT, METER continues to indicate the radio: tun-
ing condition after the radio sound is disconnected.
@ Refer to the instruction manual of the recorder if these proce-
dures do not work satisfactorily.
To Record from the CRF-320
@ Tune in the desired station to be recorded.
@ Connect the recorder MIC jack to the radio jack with the
Connecting Cord RK-69H (optional) as in Fig. O.
© Set the recorder in record mode.
@ While recording, you can listen to the sound at any desired vol-
ume and tone control setting.
@ Refer to the instruction manual of the recorder if these proce-
dures do not work satisfactorily.

Pour écouter une bande sur un magnétophone
@ Mettre la radio en mode de réception (l’interrupteur [POWER }
placé sur ON).
@ Régler le volume du magnétophone pour une écoute normale.

a la prise [AUX IN] de cet appareil a l'aide du Cordon de Raccord
RK-69H (sur option) comme illustré sur fig. N.
© Mettre le magnétophone en mode d’écoute.
@ Régler le son avec les réglages [VOLUME] et [TONE] de cette
radio.
@ L’indicateur [TUNING/BATT METER] continue a indiquer la con-
dition de réception aprés que le son de la radio est déconnecté.
@ Se référer au mode d'emploi du magnétophone a connecter.
Pour enregistrer les programmes de cette radio
@ Faire l'accord sur la station désirée a enregistrer.
@ Connecter la prise [ga] de cette radio 4 la prise de microphone .
du magnétophone a l'aide du Cordon de Raccord RK-69H (sur op-
tion) comme illustré sur fig. O.

@ Pendant I’enregistrement, on peut écouter le son au volume et
ala tonalité désirés.

To Record from the CRF-320 Automatically at the Desired
Time
Connecting a tape recorder which is equipped with a timer input
jack and pause and auto-start functions, you can record from this
radio automatically even in your absence. Such tape recorders
are not currently produced by Sony. However, the operating pro-
cedures are as follows:
@ Tune in the desired station to be recorded.
@ Turn the TIMER SET knob upward and set the desired time on
the Timer Set Indicator to the triangular mark.
© Set the POWER switch to TIMER ON.
@ Connect the recorder timer input jack to the radio TIMER OUT
jack, and the recorder MIC jack to the radio &@ jack with two Con-
necting Cords RK-69H (optional) as in Fig. P.
@ Set the recorder in pause and record mode. At the preset time,
the recording will begin automatically.
@ For details, refer to the instruction manual of the recorder.

Pour enregistrer les programmes de radio automatique-
ment a I’heure désiré
En connectant un magnétophone équipé d’une prise d’entrée de
minuterie, et d'une fonction d’arrét momentané/marche automati-
que, les programmes de radio désirés peuvent étre enregistrés
automatiquement en |l’absence. Un tel magnétophone n’est pas
produit par Sony, mais les étapes de |’opération sont les suivants:
@ Faire l'accord sur la station désirée a enregistrer.
@ Tourner le bouton [TIMER SET] vers le haut et afficher I’heure
désirée en face du repére triangulaire de |’indicateur de compte-
minute.
© Mettre I'interrupteur CPOWER] sur TIMER ON.
@ Connecter la prise d’entrée de minuterie du magnétophone a la
prise [TIMER OUT] de cette radio, et la prise de microphone du
magnétophone a la prise [ga] de cette radio, a l’aide des deux
Cordons de Raccord RK-69H (sur option) comme illustré sur fig. P.
© Mettre le magnétophone en mode d’arrét momentane et d’enre-
gistrement. A l’heure présélectionnée, |’ euregieuamencommence
automatiquement.
