Why is there no picture or picture noise on my Sony D350P?
    • A
      Alyssa KentAug 14, 2025
There could be several reasons for this issue. Ensure the connecting cords are securely re-connected and not damaged. Check the connection to your TV and switch the input selector so that the signal from the player appears on the screen. If you're using a combination TV/VIDEO player, the copy-protection signal applied to some DVD programs could affect picture quality. Try connecting your player directly to your TV’s S-VIDEO input. Also, check if you have set the player to progressive format even though your TV cannot accept the progressive signal, or COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jack is not used or Progressive of the SCREEN SETUP menu is not set correctly while the PROGRESSIVE indicator lights up in orange. The disc may also be dirty or flawed.

Why is there no sound from my Sony D350P DVD VCR Combo?
    • C
      chadbarnesAug 18, 2025
Several factors could cause a lack of sound. First, ensure that all connecting cords are securely re-connected and not damaged. Check if the player is connected to the correct input jack on the amplifier, and that the amplifier input is correctly set. Also, verify that the player is not in pause mode, Slow-motion Play mode, fast forward, or fast reverse mode. If the audio signal does not come through the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack, check the audio settings.

What to do if the remote commander does not function on my Sony D350P DVD VCR Combo?
    • D
      Dave VillarrealAug 21, 2025
If the remote commander isn't working, first ensure you're pointing it directly at the remote sensor on the DVD-VCR. If that doesn't work, replace all the batteries in the remote commander with new ones. Also, make sure the TV / DVD·VIDEO switch is set correctly and select VIDEO or DVD with the SELECT DVD/ VIDEO button.

What to do if the timer does not operate on my Sony D350P?
    • A
      Alex VasquezAug 26, 2025
If the timer isn't operating, verify that the clock is set, a tape has been inserted, and the safety tab hasn't been removed. Also, ensure the tape is not at its end, a program has been set for timer recording, and your timer settings are past the current time. Check that the cable box is turned on. If the DVD-VCR was disconnected from the wall outlet for more than one minute, reset the clock and timer. You can also try turning the power off and unplugging the AC power cord.

What to do if the power is on but the Sony DVD-VCR Combo does not operate?
    • T
      Teresa OrrAug 28, 2025
If the power is on but the DVD-VCR doesn't operate, moisture condensation may have occurred. Turn the power off, unplug the AC power cord, and leave the DVD-VCR to dry for over three hours.

Why does the tracking meter not appear on the screen of my Sony D350P DVD VCR Combo?
