The information in the histogram display does not indicate the final photograph. It is information about image displayed on the
screen.
The histogram displays for shooting and playback are extremely different when shooting low-luminance subjects such as a night
scene.
Hint
To change the display modes that are switched when you press the DISP button, select MENU →
(Camera Settings2) →
[DISP Button] and change the setting.
To hide the grid lines displayed during shooting, select MENU →
(Camera Settings2) → [Grid Line] → [Off].
To hide the marker displayed during movie recording, select MENU →
(Camera Settings2) → [ Marker Display] → [Off].
