VCRs,
do
not
connect
them
so
that
both
VCRs
are
used
as
a
recording
VCR
and
a
playback
VCR
simultaneously.
Doing
so
may
cause
a
humming
noise.

recording
VCR

equipped
with
the
S
VIDEO
input
connector,
you
can
use
the
S
VIDEO
cable
(not
supplied)
to
connect
to
the
LINE
OUT1
S
VIDEO
connector
on
this
VCR.
This
connection
gives
you
a
higher
quality
picture
than
using
the
video
cable.
*
If
your
recording
VCR
is
a
monaural
unit,
make
connections
using
the
VMC-910MS/920MS
cable
(not
supplied).

if
your
recording
VCR
is
a
EURO
21-pin
type,
use
the
VMC-216
cable
(not
supplied).

Editing
Editing
onto
the
Other
VCR
Here's
how
to
edit
from
this
VCR
(as
the
playback
VCR)
onto
the
other
VCR
(as
the
recording
VCR).
Before
You
Begin
Press
EDIT
on
this
VCR
so
that
the
EDIT
indicator
lights
up.
Note
If
the
other
VCR
has
an
editing
function,
it
should
also
be
selected
to
improve
reception.
Operation

Turn
on
the
other
(recording)
VCR
and
insert
a
blank
cassette.

Insert
a
source
cassette
into this
(playback)
VCR.

Locate
the
playback
starting
point
and
select
playback
pause
mode
onthis
VCR.

Locate
the
recording
starting
point
and
select
recording
pause
mode
on
the
other
VCR.

Press
il
PAUSE
on
both
VCRs.
For
best
results,
press
Il
PAUSE
on
this
VCR
just
before
pressing
Il
PAUSE
on
the
other
VCR.
When
you've
finished
editing,
press
&
STOP
on
both
VCRs.
