Refer to page 23 for “Connecting with Other Equipment for Playback”.
1 Insert a cassette and set the
PHONES (AVLS)/LINE OUT
switch to 2 AVLS OFF.
Set to 2 AVLS ON when using
the AVLS* function.
2 Press the PLAY ( button.
The playback begins.

To Press
Adjust the volume VOLUME +/–
Stop playback STOP p
Pause playback PAUSE P
Release pause PAUSE P or PLAY (
Fast forward )/+ in the stop mode
Rewind =/0 in the stop mode
Tips
• The SP (Standard Play)
mode and LP (Long
Play) mode will be
detected automatically
for playback. Therefore,
it is not necessary to
adjust the SP/LP switch.
• When the tape-corder
plays back to the end of
the tape or End ID, it
rewinds the tape
automatically to the
beginning and stops
(Auto-rewind function).
