Step 1: Model Series

The 700 Series mechanical level switches are single-stage, displacer-operated switches suitable
for top-insertion tank mounting. Select the sensing unit from the following charts. Then refer to
pages 44 - 50 for switching elements, housings and accessories.
Select a model series from the charts below based on maximum operating pressure and minimum
specific gravity. Minimum specific gravity is based on single switch. Anti-vibration and pneumatic
switches have higher minimum specific gravities.
Maximum Working Pressure
Displacer units are not available over 450°F (232°C).
