STRUCTURAL WEIGHT LIMITS
ON ROAD (CAR)
• Only use car racks suitable for e-bikes and follow the manufacturer’s manual
• Remove the Range Extender battery and cable from frame and transport it inside car
• When removing wheel(s), install the brake pad spacer in caliper
• Do not drive at high speeds, especially when wet
• Do not place bike parts close to the exhaust pipes, especially rims/wheels - the heat from the exhaust(s) can damage parts

• On most passenger air planes, all batteries with a capacity greater than 100 Wh cannot be transported
• Some airlines allow the RE to be transported - double check before booking tickets
• If travelling by air is preferred, batteries need to be shipped by land (requires correct labelling etc.) or need to be rented
out at destination
