5. Installation, Folding and Storage
5.1 LOCATION
Select a location for the machine that meets the following requirements:
• Dry indoor area.
• Machine does not block ventilation openings.
• Heat-resistant, sturdy base; use a floor pad if necessary.
• Clearance of at least 2 m behind the machine.
• Clearance of at least 1 m on each side of the machine.
• Clearance of at least 30 cm in front of the machine.
5.2 UNFOLDING
To unfold, proceed as follows:
• Stand safely in front of the folded machine.
• Hold the rear end of the base unit with both hands.
• Gently push the locking spring forward with the toe of one foot. → The locking mechanism is
released.
• Gently lower the base unit until it touches the ground.
5.3 FOLDING AND STORAGE
The machine can be folded when not in use. Follow these steps:
• Carefully unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
• Using both hands, lift the rear end of the base unit upwards until the locking spring A holds the base
unit securely at the top.
• Check that the base unit is securely locked in this position.
• • Store the device as described in „Cleaning, Adjustment and Storage“.
