12 CHECKING THE CAR'S BALANCE
A good balance :
- improves the comfort, during acceleration and stops.
- Provides a greater lifetime for both machine and VVVF inverter.
- Reduces energy consumption.
Shall be done before the fine adjustments of the VVVF inverter
To verify the balance of your car, you have to survey the current’s consumption during up AND down travel, with the
car half-loaded. To do this , follow these steps

Then :
- Half load the car
- Make an up-travel, and note the current value when the car is passing the halfway.
- Process strictly the same with a down-travel
- The difference of the current values shall not exceed 1 Ampere.
- If not, adjust the load in the counter-weight.
It is better to have a stronger current during the descent, it will help when the car is fully loaded
A difference of 1 Ampere represents a load around 60kg.
