Fastening the Seat Belt
SEAT BELT IN FRONT SEATS
Pretensioner
When a strong frontal occurs,
seat belt pretensioner rewinds
the seat belts immediately to
protect occupant’s face and
chest.
Seat Belt Height Adjustment
• To raise the seat belt, slide
up D-ring.
• To lower the seat belt, press the
knob and slide down D-ring.
• Insert the metal latch plate
into the buckle until it clicks.
• To unfasten the seat belt,
press the button on the
buckle.
• Adjust the seat belt height be-
fore driving.
• Shoulder belt should be po-
sitioned midway over the
shoulder, never across the
neck.
