It indicates 8-direction by interval of 45° ac-
cording to the vehicle’s driving direction.
This is available only when the vehicle
speed is over 2.8 km/h.
Turning Calibration
When the multimeter is installed to the vehicle or the battery
is replaced, you have to perform calibration by circulating your
vehicle. If not, there will be misreading in direction.
1. If you press the MODE and UP button simultaneously for
more than 1 second, the current direction flashes.
2. Turn the vehicle over 1 complete circle within 128 seconds
slowly, then the calibration will be accomplished.
3. When the calibration is finished, the vehicle’s new direc-
tion will be indicated.
The direction will be indicated while driving.
NOTE
• You can turn to any direction, left or right.
• When the calibration is completed, the compass does not flash
anymore.
• If the compass continues to flash, turn again slowly until it goes off.
NOTE
Release conditions for turning calibration
• When the MODE and UP button simultaneously are pressed
briefly.
• When the vehicle is not turned within 128 seconds after cali-
bration mode started.
