1.6 Target group

cian, commissioning and maintenance by a qualified person.
The following must be observed
EN 60204-1 and 32
DIN VDE 0100
DIN VDE 0110 and national accident prevention regulations
Skilled electrician
A skilled electrician possesses knowledge and experience on electrical equipment
arising from specialist training and, with knowledge of the applicable standards and
regulations, is able to assess the work with which he is entrusted and detect and avoid
possible risks. The skilled electrician must be familiar with the commissioning and
operation of the product and have been trained on it.
Definition of a qualified person:
A qualified person is one who has gained the specialised knowledge required for
testing the equipment from his/her vocational training, professional experience and
contemporary professional activity.
This person must be in a position to assess the safety of the system in conjunction with
the application. Qualified persons with the competence to undertake certain mainte-
nance work on our products include the manufacturer’s service engineers and trained
fitters with the corresponding certification.
1.7 Claims for liability for defects

claims for defects is compliance with the operating instructions.
Read the operating instructions before working with the device.
Use the device only for its intended purpose. Observe the content of sections "Tech-
nical data," "Use for intended purpose" and "Misuse".
Observe the requirements of EN 60068-2-6 for transport, storage and operation (see
"Technical data").
These operating instructions describe only the basic functions of the device.
Do not open the casing and do not carry out any unauthorised modifications.
It is essential to disconnect the supply voltage during maintenance work (e.g. when
replacing contactors).
In addition to the information given in the operating instructions, official and legal
regulations on operation must be strictly observed.
1.8 Misuse and malpractice
