INSTALLING THE STOVE
Install the chimney system following the guidelines
detailed in the previous section ensuring that the flue
connection to the appliance is positioned so that the
flue spigot can be connected directly to it.
Before commencing Installation, confirm that the
details on the appliance data plate correspond to the
local distribution conditions, gas type and pressure
to which the appliance is to be installed.
Ensure that gas supply and supply pipe is capable of
delivering the required volume and pressure of gas
and is in accordance with the rules in force.
The following procedure can then be used to fit the
stove:
1. Remove the bottom heat shield by loosening
the two fixing screws - see Fig 9.
2. Remove the fire door by lifting it up off its
bottom hinge point. Remove the front frame
by loosening the four front fixing screws &
nuts as shown in Fig 10.
3. Remove the two top front fixing brackets by
loosening the M6 bolts - see Fig 11.
4. Remove the firebox glass panel by removing
the fixing screws - see Fig 12.
5. Remove the Grate Tray by lifting up on the
back edge & rotating it thru 90 degress to
remove it from the firebox (see Fig 13) .
6. Remove the internal baffle by removing the
two M4 nuts (see Fig 14) and dropping the
front edge of the baffle down to release it
from the back locating tabs.
7. Remove the inner spigot by removing the
three fixing nuts - see Fig 15.
8. Remove the outer spigot by removing the
four fixing bolts - see Fig 16.
9. Position the stove body in its final installation
position and refit the outer spigot connecting
it to the flue system.
10. Place the front frame in position onto the
stove body to ensure that the stove body is
correctly positioned so that back of the front
frame is seated against the front of the fire
place.
11. Refit the inner spigot connecting it to the flue
system.
12. Raise the four levelling bolts until the inner &
outer flue spigots are sealed to the flue pipe
and front casting is flush with the front of the
fireplace.
13. Connect the gas feed pipe as shown in Fig
17 and conduct the required gas safety
checks.
