2.5 Auto-Cutter Specifications
(1) Cutting Method: Guillotine Type
(2) Cutting Modes: Full cut, partial cut (leaves one uncut portion in the center)
(3) Cutting Duty: 1 Cut/within 3 seconds
(4) Paper Thickness: 65 µm to 150 µm
(5) Cutting Position: Auto-Cutter: Distance from printing position to cutting position:
Approximately 13 mm
(6) Minimum Cutting Length: For 65 µm ≤
Paper Thickness ≤ 75 µm: 24 mm
For 75 µm < Paper Thickness ≤
150 µm: 32 mm
(7) Error Detection: Home position detected by mechanical sensor.
<Note>
1) When printing after cutting the paper, it is recommended that you feed paper at least 1 mm (8-dot
line).
2) If the cutter is not at its home position after an error occurs, either turn on the power again after
removing the cause of the error, or turn off the power, insert a screwdriver into the manual operation
hole on the right side, when looking from the front, of the printer cover which is the storage position
of the movable cutter blade. Rotate the worm-gear mounted on the motor shaft to return the cutter
blade to its home position.
3) For full cut specifications with the auto-cutter it is recommended that the printer be placed in a
vertical layout or a wall-hanging format.
There is the possibility that paper cut, using a full cut when the printer is setup for a horizontal
layout, can fall into the discharge path thereby causing paper jams if many sheets fall. Therefore, it
is not recommended for use.
