Precautions regarding installation
CAUTION

• Be sure to have qualied personnelinstall thespeciedscrews and printerto
thewall.
Star is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur as a result of
improperinstallation,misuse,ormodications.
 Especially when installing the printer at a high location, make sure that the
printerissecurelyinstalledtothewall.
If the printer is not installed securely and falls, personal injury or damage to the
printer may result.
• Makesurethatthemountingsurfaceandinstallationscrewsarestrongenough
to install the printer.
 Securelyinstalltheprintersothattheweightoftheprinterandanyconnected
cableswillnotcausetheprintertofall.
 Otherwise,personalinjuryordamagetotheprintermayresult.
• Do not install the printer in an unstable location or a location that is exposed to
vibration and shocks.
If the printer falls, personal injury or damage to the printer may result.
