CERTIFICATIONS AND COMPLIANCE
CERTIFICATION
Both the ST3Di ModelSmart Pro 280 and ModelSmart Pro 200 are compliant under the following applicable EU
cercaons:
WEEE Direcve: ST3Di, as a manufacturer and distributor is WEEE compliant in all applicable EU countries in
which the product is supplied. This ensures that our responsibilies are fullled in regards to the electronic
waste that is generated through the sale of ST3Di brand printers.
Low Voltage Direcve 2006/95/EC: This Direcve allows electrical equipment to be approved by any EU
member country, by provision of a set of common broad objecves, covering safety regulaons that the
product is tested against. The ST3Di ModelSmart Pro 280 and 200 printers are tested and approved under this
Direcve.
EMC Direcve 2004/108/EEC: This is a Direcve that all electronic items must be tested against. It aims to
minimise the side eects that can somemes be seen when electrical devices are interconnected or close to
each other; e.g. the interference that you hear when your mobile phone is near your TV or radio. The ST3Di
ModelSmart Pro 280 and 200 printers are tested and approved under this Direcve.
RoHS Direcve 2011/65/EU: This is the Restricon of Hazardous Substances Direcve. Its purpose is to restrict
the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment.
Each individual component of the equipment has been tested in order to ensure that the ST3Di ModelSmart
Pro 280 and 200 printers are approved under this Direcve.
Green Dot Packaging Waste Direcve - 94/62/EC: This direcve ensures that manufacturers whose products
use packaging are responsible for either recovering their own packaging waste, or contribung to the cost
of recovery and recycling of such waste. ST3Di is registered and compliant against this direcve across the
applicable European countries.
CE Marking: Following all of the above required legislaon and cercaon enables each of the ST3Di
ModelSmart Pro 280 and 200 printers to proudly carry the CE Mark which conrms that they have been
approved under each of these Direcves.
