TRANSPORTATION OF GOODS
Transportation of goods
The transported cargo or may affect the vehicle
stability and steering response.
When transporting the luggage or use the common
sense and good judgment.
Remember the following:
● Do not exceed the maximum-allowable carrying
capacity.
● The vehicle overload will cause the loss of
stability.
The maximum-allowable carrying capacity:
● If possible position the transported goods closer
to the vehicle center. Position the cargo on the
front and rear trunks, in front of the rear trunk and
between them.
● Secure the cargo on the trunk. Make sure that the
cargo does not displace during transportation.
The poorly secured cargo may cause an accident.
● Check that the cargo does not hinder the vehicle
control and does not impair visibility and field of
vision.
● The speed when driving with cargo should be
less than without it. The larger the cargo is, the
lower the speed should be.
● Make sure to consider the braking path increase.
The heavier the vehicle is, the longer the braking
path is.
Avoid the sharp turns or at least perform them at
minimum speed.
● Try to avoid driving with cargo on the hills and
irregular terrain. Plan the route carefully.
The vehicle weight increase impairs its steering
response and stability.
