Front brake pads check and rear brake pads

To check the brake pads dismount the wheels.

1. Brake pad
а. Minimum allowable wear (1 mm).
Check the brake pads for wear and damage. If the
brake pad thickness is under 1 mm, contact the repair
workshop for its replacement.
● Make sure that water does not enter the tank when
refilling the fluid. Water may reduce significantly
the fluid boiling point and cause the vapor lock
formation.
● Brake fluid may damage the painted surfaces and
plastic components. Always wipe immediately the
spilled fluid.
● Gradual reduction of the brake fluid level with the
brake lining wear is a normal process. However,
if the level has reduced sharply, contact the repair
workshop to find the cause.
Brake fluid replacement
The brake fluid complete replacement should be
carried out in repair workshops at the intervals,
indicated in the NOTE below the regular maintenance
and lubrication table. Besides, the brake master
andwheel cylinders sealing, as well as the brake
hoses should be replaced at the intervals listed below
or incase of damage or leaks.
● Sealing: to be replaced once in 4 years.
● Brake hoses: to be replaced once in 4 years.
