BRAKE FLUID
The brake fluid low level may indicate the brake
pads wear or cooling agent leakage. If the brake
fluid level is low, check the braking system for
leaks, as well as the brake pads wear.
When checking the braking system observe them
following safety precautions:
● Check the brake fluid level with the tank
positioned horizontally.
● Use the brake fluid of the recommended type
only.
Otherwise, the rubber sealing may be
damaged, causing leaks and braking system
impairing.
Recommended brake fluid: DOT 4
● When replacing, use the brake fluid of the
same type. The different type fluid mixing
may cause a hazardous chemical reaction
resulting in the brake failure.
Brake fluid level check
The brak e fluid shortage may cause air entering the
braking system and brake failure.
Before the trip make sure that the brake fluid level is
above the minimum mark and refill it, if necessary.
