INSTALLATION
MAINTENANCE
Red LED (left)
Faults indicated by the LED:
- High pressure fault
- Low pressure fault
- Other fault
- Hardware fault on the IWS (see fault list, operating and in-
stallation instructions for the heat pump manager)
Fault Cause
Remedy
The appliance stops and
restarts after the idle pe-
riod has expired. The red
LED flashes.
There is a heat pump
fault.
Check the fault message in
the WPM.
Find the solution in the
WPM instructions (fault
list). Reset the IWS.
The appliance stops per-
manently. The red LED is
illuminated steadily.
Five faults have oc-
curred within two
hours of compressor
runtime.
Check the fault message
in the WPM. Find the solu-
tion in the WPM instruc-
tions (fault list). Reset the
IWS.
Green LED (centre)
The LED flashes during initialisation, and illuminates constantly
after the BUS address has been assigned successfully. There is a
connection to the WPM.
Green LED (right)
No function.
16.1.1 Reset button
If the IWS was not initialised successfully, you can reset it with
this reset button. Observe chapter "Reinitialising IWS" in the heat
pump manager operating and installation instructions.
16.2 Resetting the high limit safety cut-out
If the heating water temperature exceeds 85°C, the electric emer-
gency/booster heater shuts down.

Remove the cause of the fault.
Reset the high limit safety cut-out by pressing the reset but-
ton. To do so, use a pointed object.
Check whether the heating water is being circulated at a suf-
ficient flow rate.
17. Maintenance
If heat meters are installed, their sieves should be cleaned regu-
larly.
Regularly remove all leaves and accumulated dirt from the evapo-
rator fins, which can be accessed by removing the side panel on
the condenser side to clear them out.
Check the condensate drain is working correctly. Remove any
contamination.
