Fitting the mowing head
N Turn the mowing head
counterclockwise as far as possible
onto the shaft (2)
N Block the shaft
N Tighten the mowing head
NOTICE
Remove the tool that was used to block
the shaft.

N Block the shaft
N Rotate the mowing head clockwise
Mounting and removing the metal
cutting attachment
Keep the information sheet and
packaging for the metal cutting
attachment in a safe place.
WARNING
Put on protective gloves – risk of injury
by the sharp cutting edges
Always fit only one metal cutting
attachment!
Brush knives
Position cutting attachment
The cutting edges of the brush knife with
2 or 3 blades can face in any direction.
Turn the cutting attachments over
regularly to avoid wearing one side.
Mounting the cutting attachment
N Attach guard ring for mowing
applications
N Position cutting attachment (1)
WARNING
Collar (a) must engage the hole (b) in
the cutting attachment!
Securing the cutting attachment
N Fit the thrust washer (2) – curvature
faces upward
N Fit rider plate (3) for mowing
applications
N Block the shaft
N Screw nut (4) counterclockwise
onto shaft and tighten.
WARNING
Nuts that move too easily must be
replaced.
