Why won't my Stihl KMA 135 R Engine start?

If your Stihl Engine doesn't start, several factors could be at play. It might be due to a low battery charge, in which case, charge the battery. The battery could be too warm or cold; remove it and allow it to reach a moderate temperature. There might be a malfunction; in this case, remove the battery, clean the electrical contacts in the battery compartment, reinsert the battery and switch on the engine. If 3 LEDs continue to flash red, stop using your engine and seek assistance from your Stihl dealer. The engine could also be too hot; remove the battery and let the engine cool down. A faulty battery could also be the reason; remove and reinsert the battery, then switch on the engine. If 4 LEDs continue to flash red, discontinue use of the battery and contact your Stihl dealer.
