of ignition side.
: Disengage the filter base (1) from
the buffer (2).
Remove the contact spring,

Fit the contact spring,

Use STIHL press fluid to simplify
assembly,

: Engage the filter base (1) in the
buffer (2) – make sure the peg (3)
is properly seated in the buffer.
: Push the short short circuit (1)
through the opening (arrow).
: Position the short circuit wire (1)
so that it is above the ground
wire's flag terminal (arrow).
: Push the filter (1) onto the studs
and the carburetor (2).

Use STIHL press fluid to simplify

: Engage the filter base (1) in the
buffer (2).
Models with heating
: Fit the wire (1) in the
guide (arrows).
Reassemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
