12.4 Air Guide Shrouds
– Remove the fan housing,

– Remove the filter base,

– Remove the throttle rod,

– Remove the carburetor,

– Remove the carburetor carrier,

– Pull the boot off the spark plug.
: Lift the air guide shroud (1) a little
and pull out the ignition lead (2)
– take care not to distort the air
guide shroud.
: Take out the screw (1).
: Lift the air guide shroud (2) a little
and pull it out of its seats.

: Pull out the shutter (1), check it
and replace if necessary.
: To simplify disassembly, lift the
bottom of the air guide shroud (2)
slightly during the following steps.
: Push the tab (1) towards the
clutch side and lift the air guide
shroud (2) out of its seat.
: Push the tab (1) towards the
ignition side and lift the air guide
shroud (2).

: Pull the air guide shroud (1) out
of its seats and lift it away,
removing the fuel hose (2)
through the opening (arrow) at
the same time.
Installing
: Push the shutter (1) into the
guide until it snaps into place.
: Fit the fuel hose (1) through the
opening (arrow) from the
underside of the air guide shroud.
