8.1 General
The RMA 339, RMA 339 C lawn mowers
are operated with rechargeable STIHL AK
type lithium-ion batteries only.
The batteries supplied are optimally
adapted to the intended purpose,
however, all STIHL AK type batteries can
be used.
The lawn mower electronics exchange
data with the installed battery and adapt
the power of the electric motor to the
relevant capacity.
8.2 Connecting the charger to the
mains
● Insert mains plug (1) in socket (2).
● After connection of the charger to the
power supply, a self-test is performed.
During this process, LED (3) on the
charger illuminates green for approx.
1 second, then red and then
extinguishes again (Ö 8.6).
8.3 Removing/inserting the battery
● Remove the safety plug
(Ö 9.2) and hold the battery
compartment cover in the
open position.
Removing the battery:
● Push locking lever (1) towards the
battery and remove battery (2)
upwards.
