Safety Guidelines
Important Safety Precautions
• Keep components and power cables away from water.
• Keep components and cables out of reach of children under 12 years old.
• The product should only be used in environments with ambient temperatures between 5°C (41°F)
and 35°C (95°F).
• Electrocution Hazard: Do not use damaged power cords, accessories and other peripherals with
your product.
• Falling Hazard: Do not place the platform or sensor tower on uneven or unstable surfaces.
• Take care while stepping on or off the platform to avoid tripping.
• Never step on or off of the platform while it is in motion.
• Take care to cover and contain the cables to avoid tripping or breaking connectors.
• Follow the included instructions for proper use of the product, and never stand on the platform in
an unsupported way.
Warnings Regarding Power Adapters and Cables
• Failure to take the following precautions can result in serious injury or death from electric shock,
fire or damage to your product.
• Use only the power supply units and AC power cords that came with your product.
• Confirm that your electrical outlet provides the type of power indicated on the power supply units
(Voltage (V) and frequency (Hz)). If you are not sure of the type of power supplied to your
location, consult a qualified electrician.
• Do not use non-standard power sources, such as generators or inverters. Use only AC power
provided by a standard wall outlet.
• Ensure that your wall outlet, extension cord, power strip or other electrical receptacle is not
overloaded. Confirm that they are rated to handle the total current (in amps (A)) drawn by the
power supply units and any other devices that are on the same circuit.
Caution Regarding Tripping and Falling Hazards
• To reduce tripping or entanglement hazards, arrange any cables or power cords so that people are
not likely to trip over them or pull them as they walk through the area. Do not allow children to
play with cables and power cords.
• Always use your product on level, even surfaces to avoid falling or tripping hazards. Take care
when stepping on and off of the platform.
