ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
Compressor Fluid Change Procedure
Run the compressor ve to ten minutes to warm the 1.
uid.
Shut the compressor down and relieve all internal 2.
pressure.
Drain the uid sump by removing the plug, or opening 3.
the valve at the bottom of the sump tank.
Change the compressor uid and replace the uid 4.
lter element (For element replacement see the lter
servicing procedure in this Section.)
Fill the sump with uid in accordance with the 5.
specications in Section 3.
Compressor Fluid Filter Element
Replacement
Refer to Figure 5-1.
Remove the old element with a strap wrench.1.
Clean the gasket seating surface.2.
Apply a light coating of uid to the new gasket.3.
Hand tighten the new element (P/N 250025-525) until 4.
the new gasket is seated.
Continue tightening the element by hand an additional 5.
1⁄2 to 3⁄4 turn.
Restart the compressor and check for leaks. 6.

Air Filter Maintenance
Refer to Figure 5-2. Air lter maintenance should be
performed as often as conditions require. If the lters are
equipped with optional maintenance indicators, change the
lters every time the indicators show a change is
necessary.

Air Filter Replacement
Loosen and remove the air lter and cover.1.
Remove the primary and secondary elements.2.
Clean the body, inside and out, with a damp cloth.3.
Reinstall (if clean) or replace the secondary element.4.
Replace the new primary lter element.5.
Reposition the cover and lock it into the position.6.
