Set the machine as illustrated.
Turn the switch width dial and stitch length dial
to suit the fabric.
Practical stitches
For decorative edges.
Suitable for edges on sheer, ne and stretch
fabrics. The larger stitch should go just over the
edge of the fabric to create the shell eect.
Shell hem (A)
For a delicate edge nish along the edge of
fabric. Stitch length should be set from “0.5”
-”1.0”.
Crescent stitch (B)
For at joining seams, sewing on elastic, visible
hems. The stitch can be used for rm, thicker
fabrics.
