• Wash play set with garden hose
or
mild detergent solution and soft cloth.
DO
NOT
use a stiff brush
or
abrasive cleaner
as
that
could damage play set.
• Hot items, such
as
recently used grills, blowtorches, etc., must
not
be used
in
or
near play set.

• Observe
capacity
limitations
of
your
Vista
Play Set.
• Carefully supervise children on
play
equipment
to
make sure
they
are
safe
.
• Dress children appropriately.
• Children should
avoid
pushing and shoving while playing on
play
set.
• Install and maintain a
shock-absorbing
surface around
play
set. Use at least
9"
of
wood
chips,
mulch,
or
shredded
rubber
for
play
equipment
up
to
7'
high. If sand
or
pea
gravel is used, install
at
least a
9"
layer
for
play
equipment
up
to
5'
high.
Or,
use surfacing
mats
made
of
safety-tested
rubber
or
rubber-like materials. Install
protective
surfacing
at
least 6' in all
directions
from
play set.
• Remove
tripping
hazards, like
exposed
concrete
footings, tree stumps, and rocks.
•
Check
for
spaces
that
could
trap
children, such
as
openings
in
guardrails
or
between
ladder
rungs.
• Regularly
check
play
equipment
and surfaces
to
make
sure both are in
good
condition.
Check
for
hardware, like open "S"
hooks
or
protruding
bolt
ends,
which
can
be
hazardous.
• Teach children
to
sit in
the
center
of
the
swing
.
NEVER
stand
or
kneel.
•
DO
NOT
loop
swings
over
the
top
support
beam.
•
Avoid
swinging
empty
swings,
and
NEVER
twist
swing chains which
may
weaken
them.
•
DO
NOT
let children
get
off
swings
while
they
are in motion.
•
NEVER
attach ropes,
jump
ropes, clotheslines,
or
pet
leashes
to
play
equipment. Children can
strangle on these.
• A rope is supplied with
this
play
set.
DO
NOT
attach additional ropes.
•
DO
NOT
allow
children
to
wear
bike
helmets on
play
set,
due
to
strangulation risk.
• Children should
ALWAYS slide
down
feet
first,
sitting
up, one child
at
a time.
•
DO
NOT
walk
close to,
in
front
of, behind,
or
between
moving
items.
•
DO
NOT
use
the
equipment
in a manner
other
than
intended.
•
DO
NOT
allow
children
to
climb
up
a slide.
•
DO
NOT
allow
children
to
walk
in
front
of
slides
and
swings.
•
DO
NOT
permit
climbing
when
play
set
is
wet.
