6.0 Additional Operation
6.1 Key Lock and Unlock
• Key Lock On: Press “MENU” + “ENTER” buttons on front panel to lock keys.
• AUTO KEYLOCK: Set the time duration for key lock activation (Never / 10 SEC / 30 SEC / 60 SEC).
See SYSTEM, AUTO KEYLOCK page 35.
• Key Lock Off: Enter password to exit “Key Lock” mode. (Same password used for MENU entry)

6.2 Switch NTSC / PAL System (For DVQ-2 only)
• Switch to NTSC System ( or POWER + 7):
Press “POWER” button on front panel to shutdown. Then, press and hold “ 7“ fi rst, and
press “POWER” to switch to NTSC system. (Press the buttons until the monitor displays video.)
• Switch to PAL System ( or POWER + ): ( Not used in the U.S.)
Press “POWER” button on front panel to shutdown. Then, press and hold “ 7“ fi rst, and
press “POWER” to switch to PAL system. (Press the buttons until the monitor displays video.)
Note: The DVR will automatically detect PAL/ NTSC. You can also manually switch between PAL and NTSC.

6.2 Switch NTSC / PAL System (For DMR 4, 8, 16 RT only)
1) Press “POWER” button on the DVR front panel to shutdown. Then press and hold “►“ fi rst, and press “POWER” to
switch to PAL system. (Press the buttons till the monitor shows the video image of the DVR)
2) Press “POWER” button on the DVR front panel to shutdown. Then press and hold “◄“ fi rst, and press “POWER” to
switch to NTSC system. (Press the buttons till the monitor shows the video image of the DVR.)
