FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL TANK REMOVAL
• Remove the seat and frame side covers, left and right. (6-
3)
• Remove the fuel tank mounting bolts.
• Lift and support the fuel tank with a proper stay.
• Place a rag under the fuel feed hose and remove the fuel feed
hose 1.
• Disconnect the fuel pump lead wire coupler 2 and fuel level
gauge lead wire coupler 3.

When removing the fuel feed hose 1, disconnect the fuel
delivery pipe side first and fuel tank side last. Do not
remain the fuel feed hose 1 at the fuel tank side.

Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
• Remove the fuel tank.
FUEL TANK INSTALLATION
• Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
