• Remove the gearshift cam bearing using the special tools.

• Install the bearing using the special tool.

OIL JET
Removal
• Remove the piston cooling oil jets 1 from the upper crankcase.
• Remove the oil jets 2 (for transmission) from the lower crank-
case.
Inspection
• Check the oil jets for clogging.
• If they are clogged, clean their oil passage with a proper wire
and compressed air.

Installation
• Fit the new O-rings to each piston cooling oil jet as shown and
apply engine oil to them.
Use the new O-rings to prevent oil pressure down.
• With the thread lock applied to the bolts, install each piston
cooling oil jet with the bolts.
